Does that mean Squillaci is going to start tomorrow? Oh, god.

Isn't Eastmond the CDM who is being converted to a RB? Perhaps we could see him play.

You wont have it easy today,we have some key players absent but we are a very good team.

I think olympiakos will win 1-0.

We will probably lose. Olympiakos need a win for any chance of qualification, plus the fact our squad is significantly weakened doesn't help.

I was thinking that but I'm not sure if Wenger will risk him playing him in a game like this, Also I would rather have him fully fit for the league.

Yoann Gourcuff is reportedly keen to join Arsenal in January, having missed out on the opportunity to move to the Emirates Stadium during the summer.

I wouldn't mind seeing Gourcuff in an Arsenal shirt, I have been a fan of him for ages.

He's not fully match fit though that's the point. Today is a perfect game for him to sharpen up.

Squillaci played well in his last game and also fuck risking Vermaelen getting injured when we have a league game the weekend where he wouldn't be playing with either Squillaci or Djourou anyway.

Random stats for the Arsenal website:

    * Arsenal's next goal will be their 250th in the European Cup/Champions League.
    * In this season's competition, Arsenal have had only eight shots wide, the joint lowest.
    * Tomas Rosicky will be suspended if he picks up a booking.
*There will be approximately 31,000 in the stadium, including 650 Arsenal supporters.
    * Olympiacos will be wearing red and white striped shirts, red shorts and red socks.
    * Arsenal will be wearing their blue change strip.

I think that's probably a consequence of our lack of shooting, as opposed to our shooting accuracy. Hopefully Arteta will throw that statistic out the window with a couple of free-kicks soon.

Arsenal: Fabianski, Djourou, Vermaelen, Squillaci, Santos, Frimpong, Coquelin, Benayoun, Arshavin, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Chamakh.

Substitutes: Mannone, Miquel, Yennaris, Eastmond, Ozyakup, Rosicky, Park.

Would have played Miquel over Squillaci and Park over that big oaf but whatever.
