Congrats to the Sun Kings

A year on from their winning J2, Kashiwa Reysol have won J1. They are the new J-League champions.

Winning the second division and first division in back to back seasons is pretty rare. I think Kaiserslautern did it about a decade ago, but no other examples spring to mind.

Does anyone know other times that this happened?

Well I know that AIK and Djurgårdens IF of Sweden have ALMOST done this in recent years as they both won the Second Division and then finish 2nd in the First Division the following season/
