Why do people moan about immigrants from outside the EU? They're great - we either get skilled workers who pay taxes, or students who fund our universities, we should be bring in as many as possible.

That's not true at all, people from outside the EU are skilled workers, they have no interest in coming here to sponge.

To be fair, skilled workers don't really need to work their fingers to the bone, but they generally do work hard and pay their taxes. I don't think they're even entitled to any benefits.

I merely used the words "to the bone" as a means of symbolizing the amount of effort that they put into their work. I apologize sincerely for the misunderstanding.
