Question 2: What was James Potter's nickname for Severus Snape when they attended Hogwarts together?

Re: Harry Potter Series
Correct spelling is actually Snivellus
But I'll give you it
Trickier one this time, does anyone know how Ron beat the other 'keepers (in particular Cormac McLaggen) in Quidditch trials? (Book 6)

Re: Harry Potter Series
Probably the last one before I go, Snape gave himself the name "The Half-Blood Prince", where does this name come from?
Feel free to ask your own questions, I like being tested too
EDIT: I'm not sure if they say what the charm is called in the films, but it shows Hermione doing something to put him off in some way.

Re: Harry Potter Series
The Elder Wand belonged to a wand maker called Gregorovitch, however, in around 1940, a dark wizard named Gellert Grindelwald broke into his house and cast a stunning spell on him, making him the master of the wand.
Grindelwald was the master of the Elder Wand until he was disarmed by Dumbledore in a wizard duel after Dumbledore found out about his evil plans.
Dumbledore was the master of the wand for many years, up until Draco Malfoy disarmed him in the Astronomy Tower (this was at the end of the 6th book/film).
In the very last film, Harry disarms Draco, becoming the master of the Elder Wand.
Hope that answers your question.
Also, Voldemort ordered Nagini to murder Snape as he believed that this would make him the master of the Elder Wand, however as it was Draco who had disarmed Dumbledore, not Snape, Harry was able to defeat Voldemort in the final battle.

Re: Harry Potter Series
Finally seen it today, brilliant!
I was a bit teary, but I kept my nerve. I had goosebumps throughout, fantastic film.
When Snape was in the Great Hall, and Harry stepped out of the crowd and McGonagall stuck up for him and the Hall cheered. That was just brilliant.
And Neville
His speech, I was getting such an adrenaline rush, goosebumps, the lot.
Best film I have ever seen.

Re: Harry Potter Series
Neville turned into a right beast at the end didn't he?
He'd have shat his pants if he had plucked up the courage to talk to Voldemort in earlier films, after their reaction.

He was an absolute beast, you could tell he would be involved with something. But when he hugged Draco, how awkward
And when the one of the twins died it made me realize that if my twin ever died, I would be screwed

Re: Harry Potter Series
Draco should have stayed on the other side for the lols.
Then again, if he did, he'd probably have died eventually.

Re: Harry Potter Series
I prefer the green spell thing that comes out of Voldemort's and the death eaters wands to the red ones that come out from all the good peoples. Looks cooler.

Re: Harry Potter Series
The red spell is a disarming spell, and the green one is a death spell.

Basically, all the good people are pussies.
But yeah, the green looks better.
