Wow, what a finish! If Hamilton gets penalised for that...

Admirable by Stefano Domenicali to say that it was just a fight on the track and to penalise Lewis would be wrong.

Re: Formula 1/ Walcotts thread.
that was fair racing hamilton and massa maybe aggressive by hamilton but massa tried to go back onto hamiltons line from the outside line so it was expected
funny how after button failure the other mcclaren mechanics were waiving to the lolypopman like he is about to be sacked
james allen is a pussy he should of ask webber in the press conference what he thought about the team orders directly on last lap instead webber just avoided it because allen didnt highlight it enough
vettel was staring at webber for entire time that webber was speaking

Re: Formula 1/ Walcotts thread.
Wow.. So Red Bull prefer Vettel over Webber, Ferrari pretty much based their race on Alonso and used Massa as a block to everyone else (which failed)
and although Lewis done really well, his fuel problem, WTF?!
Im actually pretty happy with that, really good race. Butons over take on Massa was quality. Really like the new layout of Silverstone aswell. Things will be back to normal in Germany now that everyone has agreed to go back to the normal exhausts..

Phenomenal race, I really enjoyed it, such a good race betwen everyone from 1st - 6th. Was such a facepalm when Button got 20 metres down the pit and his wheel started coming out, glad Hamilton kept his place on the last couple of corners too.

Webber didn't even wait for Alonso or Vettel after the race. He went straight up and was waiting for them just before they received the trophies.mauro=beast wrote:that was fair racing hamilton and massa maybe aggressive by hamilton but massa tried to go back onto hamiltons line from the outside line so it was expected

Like Hamilton would be interested in joining Red Bull. Can you imagine someone telling him not to over take someone?

Re: Formula 1/ Walcotts thread.
That was some bullshit I thought how they told Webber to hold the gap, can you even do that? He worked so hard to get close enough to overtake Vettel and then some homo tells him not to.

Christian Horner. I agree with him though I'd have been annoyed if I was Webber

But surely it's illegal? I reckon they will look into it.

Re: Formula 1/ Walcotts thread.
Team orders are legal now. Mark Webber has admitted he ignored what was said though, although I thought he backed off a bit and when he almost had Vettel he kind of gave up.
It's utter bollocks though. It's racing. When shit like that is said it just annoys the fuck out of me. It was literally the difference between winning and losing, they are discouraging overtaking . I hope Hamilton doesn't go there, no matter how fast the car is. It's obvious that RB will bum Vettel all the way.

Re: Formula 1/ Walcotts thread.
webber save most of his kers to try to overtake vettel at the end of the straight but then horner messaged him
the first feed from bbc did not show as they switch to hamilton and massa but webber did not use his kers after that and break very early after the straight, so earlier that he oversteer really badly
i really think webber would of pass, is impossible to pass on the straight but like most of overtake this weekend, it was on the 2 turns after both straights where overtakes was done because of kers
vettel clearly shows weakness in changing weather with softs. he overheat them too much. he does this in canada also
webber does the same thing on all tracks, he really is not a great tire wear manager despite when he won in monaco in last season. in all his stint he pushes to much to early and the tyre degrade to quick and then he just understeers from mid to the end of each stint. if he can control his tire wear all the time like he did in last stint of soft in silverstone, his competitiveness would be much better
vettel is normally the king of this aspect but he showing recent weakness on damp tracks

Exciting finish here, all changing onto the hard tyres. Think Hamilton's won this, Webber needed to pit earlier if he wanted to jump them.

Re: Formula 1/ Walcotts thread.
stewards may take away 2nd place from alonso for parking his car on grass and riding on webber car lol
but i dont understand what he suppose to do because his gearbox was a fuck and would of used all fuel before even reaching the building
interesting desicion to be made
