We should have two leagues-one for head-to-head (Capital One Cup) plus one traditional league.

Blade takes this sort of thing personally, and we really shouldn't want to alienate him.

I want to gamble on a City attacker but can't decide which one. Think we'll score a fair few to start with, considering there are like 3 new aspects to the attack people aren't used to. Dzeko is probably the best gamble at 7.5, considering Pellegrini said he's the main striker and he's had a good preseason. Of course that could just be BS to give him confidence... Aguero has had a knock, think he'll start the season from the bench so wouldn't get him in yet. I think Negredo would get the most points if he started, but can't tell if he'll start or not.

I went with a Manchester City striker, for me it was always going to be a toss up between Negredo and Dzeko; I went with Negredo in the end.

Think I'll try Dzeko for budget reasons.

Thoughts on Wilfred Bony?

Think I may use the wildcard early again if it becomes obvious there's going to be stars and/or my team sucks.

I was thinking of Bony but I don't know how Swansea are going to line up next season with him and Michu, but I think I've got better choices anyway. I was struggling to put the midfield together, seemed like there were too many choices and quite a bit of doubt on who I should pick, I don't think Dembele and Ramsey are going to get me many points, but I think my strikers and defenders should make up for it. I'm hoping Anelka will be a bit of a surprise.

Anelka is going to be a 170+ netter.

Is it the same situation as last year, where Chelsea players get double points for 2/3 weeks because of fixture congestion?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is like the 3rd year in a row.. must be a conspiracy.

I never play this strategically, looks like I'll have to make some transfers now. Mata seems the most logical, but I got my eye on Oscar.

I had Oscar in before but it's not guaranteed that he will appear in both games.

I'm waiting until the last minute to make my teams. Expecting a world class striker like Papiss Cisse to end up at Chelsea.

You already have 3 Arsenal players mf.

I have Dzeko as well. My team right now is high scorers from last year at the most reasonable price. I have 5 points in the bank to shuffle my team around when the season starts and we see who is or isn't performing.

In, time to suck for a few weeks.. then copy everyones squad.

I won this league last year. 

I will not bother mentioning all the players i transferred out last minute before the weekend, only to see them hit high totals.
