That doctor is fucking weird. I saw the variety in guns on youtube and I just can't wait to get my hands on them this game is really good, I can see why people said this deserved GOTY.

Re: Far Cry 3
The stealth is so good, the simple mechanic of just throwing a rock is extremely helpful. The thing I don't like is the cover mechanic.

It will probably win certain GOTY awards, although The Walking Dead is equally deserving.Kuled wrote:That doctor is fucking weird. I saw the variety in guns on youtube and I just can't wait to get my hands on them this game is really good, I can see why people said this deserved GOTY.

Re: Far Cry 3
So yeah I just finished this game yesterday and I have to say it's one of the best games I've ever played. Every moment is tense, every mission is well executed and it had a great story. I loved Jason's development from a scared American white boy to the ultimate Rakyat warrior, the hunting felt so meaningful in the game..It was a mechanic that was needed to survive not just a pointless addition like RDR and AC3. The stealth was great, it felt more rewarding when I liberated an outpost without using a firearm and just used take-downs and the other tatau abilities. I really loved the Poker in this one too, I think it's the best one since RDR, even better than that to be honest.
I must say I was disappointed Vaas was not the main antagonist and Hoyt was, Hoyt was good but Vaas had more emotion in his character, from the start I loved him, he's the best villain. I also didn't like that the main bosses were just QTEs..Really? The Rakyat were struggling against Hoyt, Vaas and Buck for years and years and Jason kills them all in QTEs...Really?? Could've been better (though I admit Hoyt's was very tense if you played it on Warrior, don't know about the other difficulties)
You found that a fault? I loved the challenge of climbing the towers, after you find the right way and you get to the top of it you sort of feel that it was such a massive climb and not just hold the up button like AC, I really enjoyed them. The vehicles were great, if you're gonna be a stupid asshole and go off a cliff, you feel like you just went off a fucking cliff That was great. The guns were great too, the flamethrower mission was the best where you had to burn the weed Hardly a few faults in SP, though I almost faced a bug where my save almost got screwed over, couldn't equip the camera or throw rocks but luckily I had a manual save not far off my progression (strongly recommend doing that often since the bug happens when you die) Was trying out co-op yesterday too and thought it was fun. Multiplayer though is awful, you can't find a game and people on the Ubi forums complain about it so much, to which I replied with the definition of insanityEternal Witcher wrote:Faults so far: AC style mapping areas with viewpoints, but it is a pain to get to the top of these places. That's all, it's been epic otherwise. Definitely go with Warrior difficulty.

- ending:
- I chose to save my friends in the end, they did not deserve to die. Jason started off to get them back, not become a warrior, Citra always had a weird vibe and I knew there would be a catch with her if I chose to go join her, she fucking kills you after the conception of their son is born, the fuck man Felt sorry for Jason in the end where he said he became a monster, he set out to save his friends and brother and ended up being a madman, he even tells Daisy he feels like winning through killing, that's messed up. I also really liked the Alice in Wonderland quotes through each chapter, I thought they fitted well with each chapter of the story
