Thought the atmosphere and banter at the boxing on Monday was great when I went. Not sure what it'll be like at the table tennis on Sunday though Laughing

I love how even in the Olympics, both boxers always seems to celebrate when they're about to announce the winner on a points decision.

Actually, I lied. I don't love it. It's arrogant, these guys aren't even professional yet.

Yeah, it's a bit strange giving it all that when you're an amateur boxer, and you probably don't even know of you've won. Even funnier before when the Cuban guy thought he'd won and hadn't. lool

Here is the medal count by continent, I used FIFA's rules to decide who should be where, for example I have Australia in Asia.

    Africa 3

    Asia 82

    Europe 95

    North America 40

    Oceania 2

    South America 7

Here is the medal table, if 'Britannia' still ruled the world.

    1. Great Britain & the Former Colonies
    2. China
    3. Japan
    4. France
    5. Germany

    Put us in Oceania fucker.

Or do the actually correct thing and give us our own continent, because we are actually a continent in ourselves

I still don't know what continent Australia is in. Must be some official consensus around.

Continent is defined as "Any of the world's main continuous expanses of land"

Australia is a island, a country and a continent, I believe the only piece of land to fulfil all three. But because the other small countries/islands (like New Zealand) are too small to be considered continents, we have all been lumped into the Oceania region of the world, people often get confused thinking it's a continent, but it's not, just a region.

Only way ya'll would get in the top 5

Also, this makes no sense, the former colonies are former, if you used the commonwealth it'd be more appropriate.

went to the swimming yesterday, saw Jamieson win his silver, and 2 World records Very Happy

and it was a fantastic atmosphere in the stadium and also around the park, it was all so laid back and friendly. Whatever problems they had with unused tickets seemed to be resolved as far as I could see.
