After hinting yesterday that more info would be available today, Bethesda has officially revealed the name of their upcoming DLC for Skyrim. According to an image posted on their blog, the new DLC will be titled "Dawnguard" and will launch on Xbox 360 this summer.

Fuck it actually looks quite good but I traded Skyrim in to buy The Witcher 2. Dry Smile

I will wait for the reviews before I decide whether or not to buy it back.

Add me to the lot that was playing it religiously then stopped and haven't picked it up in ages.

But I at least have a reason. I bought Rage and Red Dead Redemption. That and College has kept me pretty busy, so I can't go on those 5+ hours of gaming sessions that much. Oh I also bought Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

Yeah, I've been wasting my money on games recently because I came up on a little extra money recently and have nothing to spend it on.(No bitch, no kids, hardly any responsibilities will do that to you.)

    How much is the download?

I don't plan on buying it until I finish the main game though. Or is it the type of DLC that I should download while in the middle of my game. Can't say I've been paying much attention to this past the 'omg scary vampires' thing.

Typically, Elder scrolls add ons can be started and completed at any time in the game.

It's 1600 points, but if it is anything like Oblivion's Shivering Isles, it will be well worth it. I'll let you know what it is like if you can't decide.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO START THE DAMN QUEST.

I'd like to keep it that way though, would be cool if I just stumble upon it while wrestling a bear.

Saw this on their page, never watched it as I don't have the DLC but I assume it will help.

Ha! Didn't know that PS3 users had to wait an extra month. Sucks to be you(even though I won't be getting this unless it's really really really worth it)

Not really in a rush to get it anyway. Only way I'll get it if it's what you said, really amazingly good. Still haven't even finished the game yet, now that I had tonnes of extra time I'm probably going to start up again.

Try restarting the game, in my experience at first the game didn't actually register the add-on even when it said it had.

Overall I'm enjoying Dawnguard quite a bit so far. The story seems quite a bit tighter than most Elder Scrolls quests. And the crossbows while they might take a bit of time to get use to, they become very handy if you're a stealthy type.

Haven't found it yet, haven't really actively searched for it. Trust the quest to just drop on my lap soon enough.

Well I'm assuming he's over level 10. Unless you didn't watch until the absolute end of the video.

I did end up watching the video....must say the quests in his journal at the start looked intriguing...need to look them up. But I would have found the dlc anyway, guy just strolled up to me when I was passing through a city.
