Still watching the episode. So Davos did give Stannis the letter from Castle Black, cool.

Dany has a touch of Abe Lincoln about her.

Jon and Davos should totally meet up.

Don't even wanna know, facial features and body posture will give away his role in the plot. Unless it's Benedict Cumberbatch.

Season 1 finale - Dragons
Season 2 finale - White Walkers
Season 3 finale - Daenerys getting what she wants again...
They really have to take her down a peg or two next season. I don't think it's the intention of the writers to have a clear-cut protagonist but at the moment there really is a risk of that becoming the case with Daenerys. At least the battle with White Walkers seems to be well on its way. Still excited but definitely not as much as I was after the first two seasons.

Davos is a great man, and I do not agree with the way Stannis treats him.
I fear for Davos as well, though. I wish we could adopt him into our Stark family. He has Stark written all over him.

I forgot most of the previous story so I spent most of the episode trying to figure out who was good and who was bad.

Don't like who they cast as Ellaria Sand, hated her in Luther as well.

She wasn't great in Luther but she was a lot better in Rome. Plus, she's a trivial character anyway.

Ok, that's good. Never watched Rome, any good?
What did you think of the episode?

Rome's alright, doesn't compare with HBO's best though.
I thought the episode did well to set up some important threads for the season. There were a couple of worthless scenes (mainly Brienne's) and some that weren't as good as their book counterparts, but overall it wasn't too bad.

Possibly but she's definitely not very important in the second half of Storm.

Brienne has to be the most annoying character. Except for Sansa.

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
Yeah, putting your best character in a dungeon where he can't interact with anyone might be a good idea in a book but on a TV show it's shit. I'm glad Daenarys' ridiculous house of cards if starting to fall in on her.

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
I enjoyed the last 2 episodes, maybe because it added a lot of different stuff that wasn't in the book. I'm bussing for episode 8 though. I wont spoil it, just know it's gonna be awesome.
