Mark Ruffalo has signed a six picture deal with Marvel, standard for most of the actors, Samuel L Jackson had a nine picture deal, but it means we will definately be seeing more Hulk. I can see a cameo in Iron Man 3 definately.

The Avengers
Didn't see a thread. Who's seen it? Thought it was brilliant. Thor and Hulk stole the show for me!

I might see it.
Does Thor detract from the film at all? The Thor film was absolutely shambolic, I thought.

Summed up quite well, I think. Him and Ruffalo were brilliant, especially when interacting with one another. I hope that The Hulk features in the upcoming Iron Man sequel.

He's the least memorable of all of them, in my opinion. He doesn't make the film worse though. Loki's much more prominent than him and I thought he did quite a good job.

Loki is the main antagonist in this film, but it's an excellent performance from him. None of the characters really dominate the film though, so if you don't like Thor it won't really ruin it for you.

Not the slightest, as i've praised in the recently watched thread, the director Joss Whedon makes all of them work and "feel" like a movie that is as true to the comic books as it gets, none of the characters disappoint, while Thor is good he doesn't shine as well as The Hulk or Iron Man of the heroes.
Probably one if not THE of the most entertaining "final battles" of any action movie i've seen. Will go see it again in the weekend when my brother is finally home from school
^To above post written while i was doing that i find Captain America to be the one that took the least of my memory space after it, but it is not worth mentioning as there was no bad performances, i think it is one of those movies where a Directors Cut will be interesting to see what happened to the screen/action time that some of the heroes might have gotten taken away from them, not that it feels like anything is missing because Joss Whedon is so good at this geeky stuff.
Because of the change of directors for each of the "lead-in" movies they only matter in terms of origin stories, although Hawkeye and Black Widow work just as well and they don't have or need origin stories. Doesn't even matter that the actor from the "good" Hulk Movie isn't the same as the one in The Avengers

I think Ruffalo was a better Bruce Banner than Norton anyway, so it was a good change.

I didn't really like Loki as much as a lot of people seemed to. He wasn't really menacing enough and got humiliated repeatedly by almost every member of the group at one point or another in the film.

Ahh, fantastic. I just found Thor a tad corny.ResurrectionRooney wrote:Glen Damon wrote:I might see it.

Agreed, I watched Thor after watching this and was surprised by how poor it was. Natalie Portman didn't exactly cover herself in glory, in fact most of the human characters were shit.

Re: The Avengers
The only redeeming elements of that film were the humorous parts, mainly during the initial culture shock for Thor in the cafe, etc. The rest of it was just trite.ResurrectionRooney wrote:Glen Damon wrote:

I didn't see Ruffalo's Hulk but he was surprisingly good in this. As was everyone really, but I think he and Downey Jr. killed it.

Steven Gerrard is such a selfish footballer. It is paramount that Liverpool dispose of him imminently so that we can progress as a football club.
