Next season, possibly. The season after, I think not.

2014 may even introduce closed cockpits, along with all the other shite changes. I still reckon Bernie will be trying all next year to at least prevent the engine changes, eventhough he can't do a lot in F1 anymore..
I wouldn't like to see that at all, just wouldn't be the same. The cars could end up looking pretty cool though.

Why are you underestimating Mercedes. If they can get their car on par with Lotus then I reckon Hamilton can be up there. Lotus looked great at the start of the season, Grosjean could well have been in the top 4 this season if it wasn't for silly mistakes and had a little more luck.

I agree with James. Not getting my hopes up, though. Alonso drove the wheels off the Ferrari this year and took it to the last race - big difference between Ferrari and Mercedes mind.

Formula 1: Ferrari consider Sebastian Vettel protest

Fucking joke if the FIA even look into this. Would they look into is if it was the first race of the season? Would they fuck! Why should it matter that it happened in the last, regardless of whether it decided the title.
Alonso pushed Vettel of the track at Monza last year and got fuck all. Vice Versa this season, Vettel gets a penalty. Laughing Rolling Eyes

If he has broke the rules then he has broke them. Sort of pathetic that it wasn't seen by anyone else during the race though.

Theres Vergne's wing on the right. Green light ahead on the left. 2nd sector looks to be a green light, which was when the overtake was completed.

If he can not be so aggressive at the beginning he's fast. Cost him and Lotus so much this season.

Max Chilton's been promoted at Marussia too.

Kobayashi won't have a team. Sad

I saw Kobayashi. He said he didn't get an offer from a competitive team, so I am guessing the likes of Marrusia, Caterham offered him a seat but theres
literally no point.. Focusing on getting a seat 2014.

Still surprised though because he must bring so much money from Japan.

Would love to see the difference between Webber whose 6'1 between other drivers like Alonso and Hamilton who are under 5'8.

That's what I have liked about SkyF1 this year, they have done so much in looking into the design of the car. From building the car from the very beginning, to making the seat, even to stripping the car and repainting it.

    Jake Humphrey's replacement. Neutral

The BBC also revealed the 10 races it will cover live as part of its
deal in 2013. The selection is as follows: China, Spain, Canada,
Britain, the TBA 20th event on July 21, Belgium, Italy, Japan, India and
    the season finale in Brazil.

Sky Sports F1 HD will show the Monaco Grand Prix as one of 10 races exclusively live next year

This mean 10 races each for BBC and SkyF1? So the SkyF1 channel is going to be even more pointless lol.

Yeah, bit disappointed there will only be 10 BBC races. Looks like I'll have to stream the others.

I think Suzi Perry will be ok, she did fine on Moto GP for 10 or so years. Jake Humphrey will be missed though.

"exclusively live" are the ones that the BBC aren't showing. Sky will still have all 20.

    The ones BBC has:

    Live Grands Prix:
    China, 14 April
    Spain, 12 May
    Canada, 9 June
    Silverstone, 30 June
    TBA*, 21 July
    Belgium, 25 August
    Italy, 8 September
    Japan, 13 October
    India, 27 October
    Brazil, 24 November

    Phwoarrrrr no Monaco for BBC.

BBC have Canada, though. So everybody can watch Lewis dominate that race like he always does. Cool

Anyone watching the F1 2012 season on SkyF1? They done an interview with Lewis and asked why he left, he said there were a lot of reasons and laughed. Only said that he wanted to go to a team which wasn't used to winning, which McLaren usually do. Whitmarsh said he 'wanted to leave home' and also said money was a factor, although McLaren did offer more than any other driver currently has.

Mercedes must be paying Lewis loooooads. Neutral He expects to win a title within his 3 years at Mercedes, however not in his first. Which kind of points to the changes in 2014 which may or may not benefit Mercedes..

Heard the opposite. Word is that he has really bad management and does not bring enough sponsorship to the table to make up for his average performances.

That's surprising, motorsport seems massive in Japan.

Martin Brundle reckons Alonso is gonna win the title next year. I'm going for Vettel for the 4th time in a row Mad Dark horses.. Webber, Kimi.. Possibly Button if McLaren sort their reliability out and if Button sorts qualifying.

I guess they gave them the option to cover the stepped nose with deformable material, but since it adds nothing to the car really but weight, teams are likely not to go for it. Seems a lot of people don't like the red on the car, but I do. shifty
