Read that there are over 100 things that could change depending on numerous things you did in ME2. Even simple things like doing side mission a certain way on 2 would affect stuff on the third.

Insane really, love shit like that.

And Polska that's what I meant, If you've never played Mass Effect you should go from the start instead of dipping in halfway through. You'll have missed a tonne of the backstory to the main questions and all the characters. Hell even if you haven't played the DLC from 2 you'll have missed an important part inbetween 2 and 3.

Yah. Even if you don't want to fork money out for the DLC's to play yourself, you should watch a playthrough through it on youtube. For example, I didn't buy Overlord because I thought it was superficial to the plot compared to the Lair of the Shadow Broker and Arrival, but after watching it on youtube, holy fuck. The level really shakes you and shows how evil Cerberus is.

IIRC there is a huge DLC in ME1 with Batarians and some Asteroid or something, that is key in learning about the Batarians and Human-Batarian relations. Never played or watched it though, probably should.

Of course watching it on youtube doesn't change the fact you didn't play it for ME3. Some choices from DLC's do affect ME3. I'd advise if you are on Xbox, to edit your savefiles to accommodate for any DLC's not downloaded like I have.

The thing I hate about games with choices is that I have to know every single combination of outcomes!

My 360 broke which is why I got a new system, I think I'm gonna buy ME 2 and 3 at the same time and blaze through the second one (my second + third playthroughs on insanity took like 10 hrs) and then play the third Laughing

    Nevermind the Qwib-Qwib talk.

Apparently a mission in ME3 is saving the ship and the admiral who was a bit of a douche in ME2. Laughing

I think I might replay ME1 and 2 before I get this. I loved them but I haven't played them for so long that I've forgotten most of the story.

I'm going to hopefully get the firts today as I don't have a save anymore. Apparently those who don't import get fucked over royally when it comes to choices.

If you are on Xbox, you can always move the save on to a USB then computer and use the editor to modify for the choices you desire.

If you already played ME1 once, and just want to start a second ME2 sabe, you might as well just start from ME2 and use the editor to edit the saves for the ME1 choices you want.

Does it really matter that much if you don't have a Mass Effect 2 save?

Can I just download a paragon save somewhere? Or cheat edit one?
